Default Gunracks

How many of you have a gunrack in your truck if you do what kind do you have? Do you like it or not? I am looking at getting a big sky over head gunrack to put in my truck.

I've got a Du-Ha gun storage beind the back seat. DU-HA Official Website // Storage Solutions for Pickup Trucks

and a simple 3 gun rack attached to the back of my front seats. Cabela's -- Classic Accessories™ Backseat Gun Rest

BTW: it's pricy, but I absolutly LOVE the Du-Ha. I can put 2 rifles back there and no one knows they are even there.

I have the big sky rack in my 83 chevy k10 and like it alot I also have the rear window kind they are old tho they are made out of metal and rubber coated very good gun racks I dont think you can get the rear window kind any more in anything other than plastic. Had some plastic ones in another truck of mine and about all they are good for is holding a hat or maybe a fishing pole but maybe just the brand i had was junk might be some better plst ones out there. But if you are thinking of an overhead style rack I really like mine you dont really notice them up there

In the state of Hawaii its illegal to have a gun rack in your back window. The authorites would rather have it behind the seat unseen so they dont know if you have a gun or not.

I do mine was bought back in the late 80's by my dad when he owned the truck but if i was to buy another one I wouldnt hesitate on getting one. Like I said im still using it today and has held up great to alot of use and guns in and out of it the padding is still in great shape and so are the straps. I wouldnt hesitate to get another one if need be I really like the out of the way storage yet ease of quick removal as well. Also if you have a window rack and the gun in there I dont know how many times i was hit in the back of the head with a gun bouncin out of it on a rough road with the overhead type never had one even think about coming out.
