Thanks Bud. Used to pass through your town every year for a long time. For years I worked with the Wisconsin Military Academy for some Officer training stuff and always pulled trucks and equipment out of the local unit there in Marshfield.
Once I get these arrows figure out guess I'm gonna have to order me one a these Hostage rests and get things movin here. Kinda late on it already.

Not much to see here in good old Marshfield, but it does the trick.
couldnt hurt just to grab 1 or 2 carbon arrows see how you like em... i know when i first bought carbons i had to change my rest from a older prong style rest to a newer "technologically advanced" one (one with the prongs closer together) cause my arrows kept fallin through the middle of it

1st of all its dangerous to put do anything major to a bow without getting it done by a bowsmith. all it takes is ONE tiny mistake and BAM
but.. i use Carbon arrows
PSE Carbon Force 200 Dominator
for the rest i have heard tons of storys about the Whisker biscuit rippin the feathers off the arrow.. I use the prong rest and never had a problem with it.. its covered in that plastic stuff to make a quiter exit.

I've Heard the same thing, that and there loud. I still have a prong rest on mine with the felt but I just got to test out my buddy's new hostage rest and it was awesome but just can cough up the $70 for it yet I did see a different brand rest similar to the hostage for $40 but it just didn't seem like a quality piece

well as far as arrows around here carbon arrows are actually cheaper than aluminum. because of metal prices. the rest well it's six of one half a dozen of the other. i shoot a prong rest now because of ease of tuning i HATE the whisker biskit ICOLOR] think it's junk..but they sell a crapload of them..on my old bow i shot a muzzy zero effect and i loved it people complained that id was made all out of plastic but i had dropped it from my climber from 25' up in 30 deg. weather and it was just fine.. could get it tuned on my new bow so i said screw it I'll just go with a trusty prong rest...good luck.

Well I went by the bow shop today just to pick up a new string and the kid sold me on some stuff. So they made me a package deal. I got my new string installed with all the attachments tied back in place and a dozen PSE full carbon Arrows all for $100. Hell that was less then I was gettin ready to order just a dozen aluminum for.
I guess I'm just gonna keep my prong rest, it's worked all these years. Now back to work gettin it all sighted in and ready to go again. Thanks all.
Actually broadheads are next I guess. I'm shootin Razorbacks right now but I'm sure that's old world technology now to so what the new hot ones on the market.
