Guys spreading these rumors are as bad as the Main Stream Media, they use scare tactics to get you to do whatever they deem necessary. Like, write or call to your representative for something thats long gone.

Should you still call to support your Second Amendment Rights? Absolutely, but you should call for the right reasons. If everyone called to say they don't want their Rep to support the coming AWB, congress would think us gun owners are a bunch of dumbass hillbillies who don't keep up with current legislation. Is that really what we want?

And Speaksup, Holder is NOT the Director of the ATF. Michael Sullivan, the REPUBLICAN, currently is. He has been for a number of years now, and although he hasn't been appointed by Obama yet, he is still heading it. Currently, the Republicans in Congress are opposing him as the new Director. Just getting facts straight.

It was shot down but ti is still on Obama's Page and Holders Page. They want the Ban to go through. You know why they didn't shoot the ban through cause they wanting to get the Economy up and running so they quit looking bad. Obamas has it on his page somewhere that if it doesn''t go through this term he will get it through next term. Holder is not the Director of course not but he has alot of power over it. Trust me I keep on my tows whn it comes to Guns. This is the same list they have tried to get through a couple of times.

Yeah, its the same as the 94 AWB... Holder and Sullivan don't get along, never have, and his power is limited to within the law, just like anyone else. Obama has bigger fish to fry, and he won't have a second term, he's been in office 2 months and he's already being slammed.

But, remember, Obama has limited power, and the AWB Bill didn't even make it to his office. He can't just write anything into law. The promising part is that over 50 Dems shot the AWB Bill down before it ever made it to the Senate.

Keep up with gun bills all you want, but good luck catching them all... I'll save my toes for State laws... You know, the ones that used to mean something.

Greatfully Ohio isn't like Cali or illinois yet. We are pretty good when it comes to state laws. Only thing I don't like is we can't hunt deer with rifles. But what can you say my Savage 110 is like a Rifle and the Slug Loads now days are amazing soon they wil outlaw them also.

Well then, you better get high on the ball and get the bullets, primers and powder. They're getting scarce too. Especially the bullets. I just checked Midwayusa.com and there it's "Out of Stock" on most all their .22 bullets, except for the high dollar Barnes and such.

Yea, I've been stocking up a bit since about October. Should have gotten more primers though, as all types are near impossible to find. Both my dad and little brother picked up 9mm pistols and wondered if I could re-load for them. NOPE! No one around here has seen 9mm loading dies in 3 months and the bullets and primers are non-existent. Same for my dad's .223. I've already got the dies (sold the rifle several years ago) but can't get crap for bullets or primers. Was able to find him a single box (100) of 55gr Hornady V MAX moly. The last in the county. Luckily, his rifle is only a single-shot, so he doesn't go through them very fast.

I'm beginning to think the ammo/materials I have now is going to have to last me the rest of my life as it doesn't seem like I'll be able to find any more of what I need and when I do, I can't afford to buy it!

It's bad here in colorado too. And colorado makes a lot of money on hunting. All the rare calibers are non existant it seems. My grandpa has lots of rare calibers and we have a hell of a time finding ammo. He has like a 284 and weird calibers like that. My guns will never be takin away from me without a fight!

That's a lie Gunman... You know you like it when your wife rapes you . You fantasize about it all night!

Still, $30 for 50 is a little steep for 30 cal carbine rounds. Over $.50 for small arms ammo like that is getting up there. If it were match grade then I might be able to understand.
