Default Calico Buck

These photos are of a "calico" buck that was shot in Wisconsin.

I am told that Cabela's paid $13,000.00 for the head & hide.

It is said to be more rare than an albino.

If it were that rare, I'd a got more than that for the head and hide. IMO

The local gun shop, Fin-Feather-Fur Outfitters in Ashland, OH. has a couple full-body mounts of them in their display, though the racks aren't that big.

It's actually called piebald, not calico. Calico is tri-color.

That's pretty cool. All the piebalds I've ever seen were more of an off-white color with lighter splotches on them.

I have never seen one until this one was e-mailed to me. Some where along the line someone was messing around with the cows
