Nope did not mention in that post what I would pick, but if you read a couple more of my posts you will know what I would take and why.

Oh and by the way, what professional training have you had when it comes to weapons? I am to assume from your posts that you have attended all kinds of schools & training to keep you alive for more than 5 min if the poo hits the fan in your city.

Gunman, I mentioned the gun i would pick and all you did was tell me why my choice was not up to par. Along with just about every other post in here, you basically let everyone ( and i mean everyone ) know why they're choice wasn't what you would pick.

Next time your gonna make a poll/post like this, ya might as well title it as follows.

"Pick one gun that you'd use for EVERYTHING and i'll tell you why i wouldn't"

I can see Gunman's intent with this thread. He was not trying to be an *** by picking apart everyone's choice of single weapon. Just his way of pointing out there is no "perfect weapon" for all scenarios. Where he strayed from his goal, was when he made his own personnel choice in firearm and got defensive when people started picking it apart. Perhaps if he had let his choice of the M1A remain anonymous, this thread would have went a little smoother for him in the end.
