2009 will be the year for new gun and ammo taxes and restrictions. It is going to be dismal.

I have a .300 Ultra currently but I think I might like to try the .338 Lapua. I would love a TRG42 Sako in .338 Lapua but it gets expensive fast. How do you like the SA mag?

I'm going to buy at least one more semi auto pistol. More importantly, I am going to finally get into reloading my rifles and pistols like I do for my shotguns already. I think ammo is what they are going to go after, in the not so distant future.
DM, you're kidding yourself if you don't think we'll have new gun restrictions in the next year or two. As it is, the pistols I have and am going to buy are already plastered with stickers saying which states they are currently illegal in.

yup- Ammo is what you need to stock up on.
The scope is an M2 Dark Earth 3.5-10 with Illuminated Tactical Milling Reticle (TMR). Well...that is what it looks like, anyways....

Staarma,
We'll have to get out and shoot sometime. I'll take the AR Carbine and the AR Mini Sniper.

They are 1 Mil like the Mil-dot, but the actual horizontal hashmark height (takes place of the mil-dot) is .05 mil at 10x, where as the mil dot is .25 mil I believe.
The TMR is definitely more versatile than the mil-dot.

I'm going with a Springfield XD 40... and as much ammo as I can afford to hopefully last me a lifetime, of course, once the revolution comes, we'll all be needing a lot more ammo than we have.

***********. but anyway i do have a remington .308 thats a real nice shooter. mainly for hunting, its a bolt action. composite stock, stainless barrel
