Dunno if that was his intent, but you do have to consider is it worth it to get caught carrying a gun without a license? I'd imagine its a felony, probably at least a class a, maybe some of the leos here can correct me, but if you factor that plus the fact that they'd confiscate it, and you wouldn't ever be able to own a gun again, let alone carry. It may not happen, but you could run into that state trooper that's not as forgiving, and it could go downhill from there. All it would take would be one time, and then the consequences are lifelong. Honestly, i would just go see what you need to do to get your permit, so our can legally carry, and never worry about it again, rather than take the risk and never be able to carry again.

Not turning it into a argument, you stated you do not have a concealed carry permit and live in GA and always carry a pistol in your boot...

Thus you are going on the internet and bragging about breaking the law and illegally carrying a concealed weapon...

Stupid to say the least...

I carry my snub nose in a cheap IWB holster in the front at about 1:30. Right by where your 1st right side belt loop is. I carry my full size Glock in a CrossBreed at 3 o'clock with some forward cant on it

like the cops

I live in south ga, and I say "if the cops want their weapons exposed and easily accessible, there must be a reason." My taurus millennium pro 9mm is on my side in a fobus paddle holster anytime i'm wearing pants. It always has one in the hole and safety off. I don't need to fool with cycling the slide or tripping the safety in a do or die situation. I have all the proper paperwork. I have been checked a time or two by cops, but never a negative experience. One said to me after checking my permit "I just wanted to be sure. I don't want a fair fight." to which I replied "Same here."

On duty I cary a M9 in a drop leg holster. While not on duty i carry a 1911 in a IWB holster and a Kel Tek in my pocket. Have had to pull once off duty. When the lady said im going to kill you and your wife and then reached into her car she looked back to a loaded 1911 pointed at her. Police hauled her off to jail and told me that i was good to go.

No permit, so for the times when I have one on me it's usually a rifle or the redhawk (in a western style holster).

How in the hell do you keep a 9mm in your boot? You have size 9 feet and put on size 13 boots?

Most times if I carry its a snub nose 38 revolver. Ankle holster.

In the future I plan on a 9mm compact.
