What are you talking about? - they woudnt know the difference between and open assist and a steak knife.

 

Open assist is perfectly legal here in Canada.
And so are pocket and or thumb tabs.
All of these are readily available in stores.
Full auto's and most "push" knives are not though.

I carry the Kershaw Leek. Guess us horse people know good knives. For a while there it was hard to find the open assisted knives up here but now it's no problem.

 

I've got a lot of knives . but the one I keep in my pocket all the time is a small master pocket knife a buddy gave me . it's only a $ 10.00 knife but it stays with me all the time . I bet if I throw it down and walked away it would showup in my pocket agian by the end of the day. in the truck I have a buck lockback and a utility knife with new razor blades.

 

I've got a little pocket knife that comes in handy,and a hunting knife in the truck,in case of some tasty road kill,for protection I carry a little SP101 in 357mag,if things ever get heated I let "Maggie" do the talking

I don't know the difference..what they tell me at the border is that if it's a switchblade,or opens with gravity then it's illegal,but a samuri sword is legal....
