Default WOLF 308 WIN.

Since 308 WIN. brass ammo is either hard to find or to expensive I bought 1,000 rounds of WOLF 308 WIN. 145 gr. ball steel case ammo for $552 shipped to my house.
So far I haven't had any problems with WOLF .223 or 7.62x39

in my experience there usually isn't many issues associated with the steel ammo, other than it wears your rifle out faster.

The steel cases are made from a mild steel, the steel on the rifle is a lot harder

The cases wear the extractors and have been known to break them sometimes. Even more so though, it wears out the throat, and the bullets wear out the rifling faster. Proven Fact.

here you go:

I ran a lot of steel through my AR15, and while I had no failures or other issues with it, it definitely did wear the rifle out quicker than anticipated.

Brass is cheap enough that its the only thing I run now, especially through my SCAR's.
