Ya, That's what we were thinking. We only saw two does the entire time and they weren't anywhere near your spot. I think I might have to run down south and get one during the late season. I stalked a 2 point around Friday but couldn't ever get a 3rd point and some other dipstick came and spooked him off while I was trying to get that third point...

Talked to a friend today who heard your 5x5 got taken during muzzle loader season...

 

That would explain it . Whoever got it got a real nice buck

 

Well Im back with no Bull, But I got the chance to see some bighorn sheep, and Saw 7 Cows the first days, and had a Cow and a Calf come close enough to poke with my rifle wensday. But thursday we had some realy high winds and 10000 Feet, knocked some trees down. But all the hunters pushed em outta of the area, and last nigh i heard them go into the pond across from my camp, and saw alot of tracks heading down low, but couldent find them so we gave up and headed home, I will see if I cant find any near my home tomarrow... Ill put up some pics soon..

Bluetongue all but wiped out the farm herd in northern MO.

 

Damn... that sucks.

 

Well I didn't get any thing passed up a few little 2 pointers the opening weekend and first couple days. Last couple days I didn't see any bucks

sent from my F-350

 

Got my late hunt next weekend. Plan is to head out Friday and see what I can find... Might be a long weekend of sleeping in the truck... haha

 

I know that feeling!!! good luck to ya!!! should take a tarp and sleep in the bed...
