Helps spool big chargers faster, it goes in between the manifold and the turbo housing. With the divider closed ( like shown) exhaust gas is forced through 1/2 of the turbine housing on the exducer's side of the turbine wheel, when boost increases it opens to allow exhaust to both sides.

Very nice piece, I know I will be ordering one next month

 

i will be putting one of these on our p24v truck also to help get the S475 up and going a little easier
