Default Error Erasing Smarty

I went to do the latest update and got an "Error Erasing Smarty". Ive tried several times to do the up date and get the same results. Now my Smarty Jr. Is empty and won't accept any thing.

I got it fixed. I tried both versions of the down loader erased every thing and still could not get it to work. This is on my lap top with Windows 7. I've used it every time for updates but now it does not work. I loaded every thing on to my Desk top with XP and it all loaded just fine. Is this a common problem with the Windows 7 just waiting for the latest fix or my computer it self?

That's one reason I use an old PC running Windows 95 for stuff like this. You never know when Microsquish/Windoze is going to hose you with a driver issue.

I have WIn7, NT4, XP, 95 and three different flavors of Linux running at home. I use AIX, HPUX, Win server 2003 and XP to fly satellites at work. I'm smart enough to know when crappy 3rd party drivers are liable to cause problems.
