if there is a decent software editting package for the Benz products? Since he is over in Itally and they have more experience with diesel cars over there I figure it would be worth the question.

I can't seem to find any kind of decent scanner that interfaces correctly with the STAR system except some knock off "junk" from China which I'm not sure I want to spend my money on.

Anyway, if you can ask him that would be great.

You need a scanner or a programer? For a european scanner its hard to beat the Lauch line of scanners.

 

I'm looking for a programmer that say acts like the smarty (ie scanner built in). I don't need power but I do need to be able to edit settings.
