I went to the Dark side
Well i finally got a Diesel after looking forever. I really wanted a Cummins or a Duramax. So whatever came up at the right price was what i was going to buy. As you can see which route i went. I will still always be a Chevy guy. I still have my roots my 67 Camaro R/S. Once i find a good deal i am going to pick up a cheap 99-04 1500 Silverado for winter and other use's. Anyways here it is a 06 Cummins with 64K i think it a has 4 inch super lift, but i am not sure it has the dual superlift stabalizer's and Skyjacker shocks so i am kinda confused if it's skyjacker or superlift.
It has new 35" BFG all terrains, banks 4" monster exhaust, Nerf bars, toolbox, k&n drop in filter and other small things like Husty molded floor mats, seats cover, and vent shades. The previous owner even had the oil changed, fuel filter, and 2 new batteries before i bought it. A older guy that was in his 50's or 60's owned it for the last 2 and a half years sense it has 25k on it i ran the carfax so i know he wasn't pulling my leg and the has a clean carfax even though you can't always go buy that. I looked it over and the body is really nice if there was paint work done someone did a nice job because i looked at it really close. He told me the truck has pulled a small quad trailer and hauled a few bails of hay, but most of the time it hauled produce in the back seat and potato's in the bed for his restaurant.
I got the thing home two weeks. I work at a car dealer ship so i stayed late to clean it up. I got the whole inside cleaned up, but hurt myself in the process. The carpet scrubber got clogged up and to make a long story short the thing is on 4 wheels so it started to roll away from me so i grabed with one hand on top and one on the bottom. Needless to say i didn't know there is a metal fan under there and to top it all off it didn't have the safety guard on it. It tore my finger up good i had to go to the ER and get 9 stiches that night. I am still mad that this happened i feel so dumb.The next day i come in there blood on the back dfoor of my truck and all over the door handel of the shop. The owner heard about the accident and made the detail shop boss hurry and tear the thing apart and get a quard to cover the fan for safety reason's. Sense i was on my own time i couldn't collect workers comp or do anything about. Not that it really matters to me because i have some what of an office job and can still do my job so i don't have to miss any work. So that's why i never got to buff the truck and make it up to my standards on the outside. Enough talk here's the picture don't bash on me to bad chevy guys
