His old TA was built to be a drag car that he entered in shows. Wasn't uncommon for him to tear it down to the frame just to make sure everything was clean. That car was spotless all the time, inside and out. He even tore the backseat out cause he didn't want friends ridin back there makin a mess.

That's cool. I remember goofy **** like that too. Sometimes I can still sneak truck parts in the basement if I'm careful.

Just to see the irony in all this. He get's his Assoc in business degree in April from the University. His primary study has been Automotive Diesel and High Performance, it took him 3 years to do this cause he kept addin extra Tech classes to the program that weren't actually a part of it. Now that he's supposed to be goin on for his Bach degree in business he's decided it's not what he wants to do for a livin. Now he's wantin to start over in school and go into the medical field. He keeps talkin to Ma about the money she makes and seein dollar signs. He's gettin signed up in the Nursing Program to start off with and see where it goes from there. Not that it's a bad thing, He'll be ale to write his own check as a male nurse but wholly cow.

Buildin engines is all this kid has lived and breathed since he was 11 years old startin with RC gas motors and then on to his own car when he 15. By the time he got his license he had it completely tore down and rebuilt.

Ill say it again, Have fun Mike. His interest in this site is just the beginning. Wait till you go out to your truck one day only to find he's got it tore apart, just fixxin somethin ya know. He's how the mods on my truck got started in the first place.

My wife just got her RN 3 years ago and it didn't cost us anything for school. It was all paid for and grant money left over to boot. There is such a critical shortage in nursing world wide right now that there's no need for anybody to pay for school. She turned down several scholarship's cause the school was already paid for.

Theres is a shortage but theres also a waiting list here to get in. plus extra fees cause its that feild..like $500-1000. more per credit.. just to get her in was 6,000.00 first year.. then theres 3 more years to go...
I figure they should pay our kids to go to school if theres a shortage, i dont get why they charge extra for a much needed nessesity..
But thats here.... I suppose it ways out cause most of our medical is free.
Still rather have free courses though.
