Here's my Black Lab hunting buddy. This is Rocket, 84 pounds of lean mean hunting machine. I've trained him to obey whistle commands, hand signals and verbal commands. If it has feathers on it, he will retrieve it on land or water. I volunteer our time for under privileged youth hunts and area club hunts to introduce women to hunting.

Here's a pic of Duece in his old age. We said goodbye to him today. I buried him down by the lake where he loved it so much. Absolutely broke my heart!

His father wasBarricuda Blue .

Thanks H.R.D.

I figure that all young people deserve a chance to experience hunting and gun handling first hand rather then get brainwashed by the media that hunting and guns are bad. With the amount of kids being raised by single parents today, I feel this is a worthwhile investment into their future.
The kids are required to successfully complete hunter safety training. We have the kids practice shooting clay birds, and gun handling at area gun clubs prior to heading out for a hunt.

The best thing about this is the smile on their faces when they bag the first bird.

Sorry for the highjack
