I just wet sand and buff its much faster

you can use an agressive grit but you gotta end it with a 1500 grit like you said to make it look cleaner.

yea but if they are to oxidized they will still have hazing once you buff it out

Just bought the mothers headlight kit.it comes with the polishing ball a cloth and 2 pads with 4 different grades of sandpaper.will be doing it tomorrow.will take pics of b4 and after.
and let you know how long it took.

i don't think i needed to use them.the lights look way better then when i started

i watched a guy use brake fluid once, seemed to work good. looked like it almost melted the surface of the plastic and smoothed up the rough surface. wouldn't try it on mine though

as a last resort i guess it would be worth a shot. just dont get it on anything else.

ive heard of that from an old guy i used to work with, also tooth paste, because its like an abrasive and a polish all in one

I have used toothpast to remove large scratches from CDs a bunch of times before. It leaves behind meny fine scratches, but it is better then large ones. Seems like a safe option to try
