the u bolts were meant to be re used with this kit, the bolts were fine so we went ahead and re used them, if anything comes up with them i will replace.

Are ya keepin the hitch or ditchin it? I think a roll pan would have looked great on it, just my opinion!! What kinda go fast goodies in the 355? cam, heads, intake, compression? Or just a plain old SBC? If you cant tell im really into this build ha ha Please keep us posted

well im glad someone is into this build - the reason i chose a chrome bumper is because this is a one off custom color that id NEVER be able to perfectly match.

Af far as motor, its got edelbrock intake, 305 heads with big valves, "3/4 race" cam, etc

alrighty guys, got truck buttoned up tonight, got 4 shocks on, got exhaust dumped, and took a few vids of exhaust, one before the dump, one after dump in the air and one after dump at ride height.

Let me know what you guys think of exhaust sound difference, it DEF sounded diff in person, not sure how well video will show the diff or not.

ok guys, completion of "phase I" is close to being done, i got brackets from UPS today for rear bumper and proceeded to install it. Since lic. plate frame is on back order i will have to just wire tie my plate in temporary for now. Heres some pics after i got rear bumper on!

so one last thing i found out was that my front tires WOULD NOT work with the drop kit AT ALL. I got truck done and went to back out of my driveway, went slowly and at an angle, and my tire STILL contacted my inside lip of outer fender, ripping/cutting CHUNKS off my treaded sidewall/corner of the tire and slightly bending down the inside lip of the fender, so saturday morning i went to 3 places for a mad dash on new tires. Heres what came about.
