New Pickup
Got myself a new pickup/project. My plan is to flip it. I picked it up for $450, runs great, drives good, needs a few minor adjustments or things fixed besides the body. A new body, full tune up, new paint and I should be able to sell it locally and make a profit. I could actually part it out and make a profit, but that doesn't give me anything to drive for a while.
1977 Chevy K10 1/2 ton 4 speed 4x4 regular cab longbox but the big downside is that it has the good ole 350 small block. I haven't even started working on it yet and I already miss my diesel. The mileage alone makes me miss my diesel . I'm hoping to use the money from selling this to buy me a another Ford IDI.
Even though its a gasser I though ya'll might be interested in seeing some pics.
Original 350 is 100% BONE STOCK!
First couple of fixes:
Temporary floor patches
New gauge bezel thing

Well, we went up a canyon to go shooting this last Sunday to celebrate the 4th since I had to work and the fan just about ate the battery. Surprisingly, the only thing that blew on my was my rigged-up tail lights and that's just because when I put them on, I forget to fuse them. Oh well, guess I'll have to just fix the ones on the truck now.

I decided not to change the body out. By the time I found a good body, swapped it, and painted it, I'd be in it more than I could get out of it.
Some recent pics:
New paint is just about done, just the door and where my toolbox sits is left.
Also picked up 8 tires for free and got a set put on.

Its not worth that much to me. I'd rather have a Fummins. The next GM vehicle I own after this one goes will be a 70 Chevelle convertible with a Duramax and the odds of the happening are way beyond slim to none.
