Goodbye Cummins, Hello Duramax

I"m running the Banks economind. Yeah, I know, Banks blah blah, but until I get a built trans, there's no point in anything more aggressive, the allison can't handle more than about 100-125 hp more than stock. It's actually a really smooth programmer, runs like stock fuel curve but more power all the way around. I would like a little more fuel down low for more torque, but then it would smoke more and I"m kind of out of that phase...

here's my take on the dmax vs. cummins. my cummins was a beast when towing, mostly because of being a manual trans and having more mods. the dmax is a bit more sluggish, it requires more skinny pedal to do the same thing.
That being said, the dmax is faster unloaded, handles better, brakes better, has better AC, and is so much quieter, it's really nice.
The dmax has the variable geometry turbo, which Banks is using with their speedbrake to really slow down when hauling. it's absolutely amazing how well this works.
