DAMN, thats about hoe mine sounded the other day when a freak storm swept through here. Didn't start though, found out my alternator was done. Think the wind chill was down to -10 that day too so I wasn't in any hurry to fix it

Thanks.

I have had a 97, 99, my bro has an 02 and a 11 and they all start way better than this one does. The 97 and 99 would fire right up when it was 30 below with out being plugged in. Not what the difference is but its really annoying. I have replaced the grid heater and relay with no luck. I have also changed injectors and the pump too. Oh well I just have to plug it in when it drops below 30 degrees.

I hate the winter in RS. I was down there a couple years ago in January-February, came back home to Idaho at the end of February to 4 feet of snow and warmer temps than RS with no snow! Dang wind.

Here at college i don't have anywhere to plug in my truck since I'm in the dorms. It got down to -15 and she'll start right up after cycling the key 3 times.

Well thats a good thing. It really annoys me that its so hard starting. I have a sneeking suspicion that the first owner may have used either on it and now its addicted to it
