oh, and in your sig, yes gisele does look better than your truck, even though you have a nice lookin rig.

this was the deal.
on ebay i hooked up with a truck wholesaler, in corpus christi, tx. he had 9 of these white regular cab oil field trucks that had just come off of a 3 year lease....they had been used by ruff necks and they were in bad shape cosmetically.
since i bought the truck
here's what i've put into it:
ebay front bumper $300.
ebay rear bumper $130.
local used OEM radio $130.
take-off tires and OEM polished alloy wheels $850. (40 miles from house).
ebay 6-way power seats with power lumbar $250. +130 freight
rear tail light $30.
junk yard A/C vents $20.
craigslist camper shell $600. (only 15 miles out of my way) $30 to wire up center brake light and interior dome light.
S&B cold intake $175.
both mirrors on the rear view mirrors were broken $20 (i had to do the labor)
===================================
still needs a little body work on the right side and a quality paint job....
the tail gate looks like ****.

Is the $8300 total price or price you originally paid?

actual cash price was $7900, but i had to fly from oklahoma city to
corpus christi, texas, so i added $400 to cover the plane fair and the cost of driving it back to OKC, oklahoma.
i call this truck an ebay truck but i shouldn't because after i became an interested customer of this ebay seller.....he made me a non auction deal on this truck...... he felt, he was stuck with all these reg cab 2 wheel drive trucks and would never be able to retail (sell) them.....so he sold the remaining 7 trucks to some retailer in mexico.....

i would definitely buy another truck from this guy but now he doesn't have any.
my guess is that i could sell this truck for 15 or 16K now that i've fixed it up a little......

Ok, finally figured out photobucket and heres some pics of my '01, ill get some of the '03 tomorrow. Anyway, its a little dirty in the pics, but its the best i got

The intake i built myself. Funny story, its actually built out of an intercooler tube from a blown up 6.0l powerstroke , seriously. Anyway, i used the bends out of it, cut em and fitted em together to match the factory bends. Welded em up, and, voila, pretty nifty, huh?

By the way, how do i get them to upload full size instead of thumbnails?
