This is the only downer/bummer about the aftermarket pwr/htd tow mirrors, when their flipped up in the "tow" position and mirrors are adjusted all the way in you get this at the outside end of the mirror visible to everyone.

However, i think i have a fix for this, and i think what mi gonna try doing is buying some small wire loom and seeing if i can finagle it around the wires to give it a cleaner more factory look.

Let me know what you guys all think of the new parts on the truck. I will be adding more stuff hopefully tonight so expect more pics later this week!

did those come with the support brackets or did you buy them separate or did you not use them?

Looks good! I have never had to adjust the mirrors to the extreme positions when flipped out, so I've never had the problem.
When you said you had new parts, I thought it would be a new clutch maybe...

i bought OEM factory support brackets then found out the mirrors came with them as well, so i went ahead and used the facroy ones as i felt being OEM they would be better quality and kept the ones that cam with mirrors in the boxes

Mish, clutch is on the list, near the top, but this stuff is cheap and easy and i wanted to get these small things done. How have you never had to adjust your mirrors so much when flipped up, my mirrors are turned ALL the way in and i can still only see the VERY back edge of my long bed truck. What did you do differently?

I think you may have the support brackets installed improperly. I have only had that issue with a set of **** towing mirrors I once owned. I have installed about four sets of KoolVues and have never had that issue...

how can someone do it backwards, cuz doesnt the window side of the bracket have a slight bend to curve with the door and there is i think another curve for another area of the door to "ensure" proper fit?

Yes, but with brute force, you can make anything happen!
