Default Ever Wish You Just Left It?

Somtimes I wish I had just left my truck alone. Here are a few pics over the years starting from when I bought it. The first pic is the day after I bought it, second is later on in the year when I installed the first stacks, then there is one with the miters, and what it looks like now. I like the second pic the best, and not only because it is hauling a Bowtie.

I like the 4th pic.

Wish I could afford to take it off your hands. But, no go...

Times are hard all over right now and it don't help that the holidays are comin and they're already tryin put money away for that.

And there is not a day that passes that I don't wish I had just left the tuck alone and drove it. If I ever could afford to own another, I will never do this again. Lookin back on it, a few cosmetic things, a new exhaust, fuel supply upgrades and guages was where I wished I would have quit.

The problem is, all the aftermarket stuff just isn't very good. Nothing beats the driveability and reliability of a stock truck.

I grew to hate my 02 Dodge after several mods, then I traded it off.

Now I have a new plan, do whatever to the duramax (gonna get a new one every year anyways), Lightly modify the Dodge (plan on keeping it around for a while), the ford conversion doesn't really matter because I will rarely drive it so the more horses the better. Finally, my wife is likely getting a 6.7 mega cab this spring, which will be kept 100% stock, with exception of a lift, rims, and tires.

In my case I just hate the fact that all the mods pretty much took their toll on the dependability factor. I don't trust my truck any more with all this stuff and I know it took it's share of miles off the overall lifespan. Not to mention if your on the road and have problems, there's nobody that knows how to work on it. I have pulled this thing into a few Cummins dealership garages and they just look at me and laugh. Theres almost nothin they can do with my truck anymore.
