Rhino Lined rocker panels
So my 2000 super duty is looking pretty tired around the wheel whells in the back and the rockers are bubbling a little bit. I have seen a superduty with black rhino lining from the bottom to the body line all around the truck. Has anyone done this before? I was looking for any input on cleaning, durabilitly; tho i dont' think that will be an issue, and just general opions. Thanx for any input.

This is my friends 99. Truck is actually maroon/purple. You can see where he repaired some rust and primered it on the one side. Unfortunately he didn't do a good enough job as the rust is starting to seep through. He did the diamond plate running boards as well but it is starting to flake off. Its hard to get stuff to stick to diamond plate.
If your going to use it over a rust repair I would paint it with a rust convert/inhibitor like Rustoleum/POR-15/Zero-rust and then rough it up with sand paper so the bedliner will stick.
Oh and its not Rhino Lining its Durabak. He used a brush and a DA sander to rough up the paint.
