Default Removing OLD window tint.

My truck has some window tint on it from 94, it turned purple and bubbled up over the years. I have tried just razoring it off with heat, but it seems just too dried up for that to work. I was wondering if there was some kind of spray maybe, that would melt it or something. Thanks.

get some of the plastic from a dry cleaner.. spray the window tint with soapy water and stick the plastic on the tint just smooth with hand so the water remains between the plastic and tint(good and wet).. put it out in the sun and it will cause the tint to sweat between the glass and tint.. makes it easier to remove...

all you need is windex and a razor blade. Helps to have heat but not a must. Kinda messy with getting the windex everywhere but use lots of it and have fun.

A razor blade helps remove the old plastic, "goof off" works great on removing the glue.

you can use a cheap "foam" window claener and razor blade, it's not as messy.
its cheaper and works better than the expensive stuff out there
