well up doin it again.....
sorta, need to get more pics. got the shackle flip kit in and axle bolted back in. can drive it around now atleast. now i need to throw it on the trailer and take it to work so use the bigger tools. cut off old shock mlounts, weld on new. run brake line and parking brake cables.
i think with the spare i am going to just mount it to the inside of the bedsides. sorta like the old ****** did, but on the inside.
think i figured out an easier route for the bed also. since the main demensions i wanted for the bad was 37 wide by 6 ft long, i am gona change that around a little bit.
probly just gona get a small utility trailer and modify it to fit. i have been looking around and found a company near me(same town) that sells a 4ft by 6 ft utility trailer with open grate floor for 575 bucks. now thats for the complete trailer. i am gona stop by on monday and see if they will sell me just the main box without the lights, suspension and axle.

That's not a bad idea. I was thinking about doing the same thing on my f150 that I had, since I had an old beat up atv trailer that had the 12" tires, just throw it on and make a flatbed. Here's that pic just to show ya his rig anyway. Its pretty sweet. He's done all the work on it. Shortened the wheelbase a foot I think, maybe more. Chopped off the back, built a rack. He's added onto the front bumper since this pic was taken.
Yeah, you could argue this his is borderline road legal. He got a trailer fender from northern tool, cut it in half to put over the rear tires, got lights and everything and its licensed. Another reason I like living out here and in farm country, just stay out of the fields and no body cares what you do.
got bed figured out. still gota make real fenders and a bumper, but it has a bed again. and fuel tank.
pics.

pics show new shock mounts welded on, sky manufacturing shackle flip, and rerouted brake lines.
also the 1/2 ton springs are softer, but still to stiff. gona take a leaf out and try it then.
also i still hve to remove the 4 inch block to get it to sit level again. waiting on new ubolts to arive.
pics.

Sweet! That expanded metal will make it easy to wash mud out of the bed, haha. Are you going to do your stacks or leaving it with the turn down that looks like it'll catch on everything? And I think you should leave them fenders, they look "cute"
