Default Seeking The Perfect Fit, Why I Lowered My Lifted Rig

A few months ago, I lifted my truck with the cognito 4-6" lift, bilstein 5100's and deaver 4" rear springs. In addition, I added KMC Hoss wheels in size 18x9 with 5.18" of backspace and Pro Comp Xtreme Terrain AT's in size 35x12.5x18. The fit was great (no rubbing at all) and the ride is incredible. My CV angles are totally straight. However, the back end of the truck was nearly 3" taller in the back than the front. When I first got my truck lifted, I had the front set at 4". I wanted to keep a rake on my truck but not this significant (see the first pic). After figuring out that the Deavers weren't going to settle out, I then proceeded with cranking up the T-bars so that there was a 1" rake, but my truck ended up being really tall. For example, I pulled my truck up next to Rieneke's truck which has a 6" TC lift and 315's and my truck was clearly taller than his (see second pic). After driving around for a little while like this, I decided that I never intended to lift my truck this high. The reason I wanted a 4" with 35" tires was that I thought the tires would fit nicely inside the wheel wells with this setup. So I got the idea of lowering the rear of my lifted truck with lowering shackles. I ended up dropping the rear a full 2" with the shackles. So here it is, my lowered truck right at 4" of lift in the front with about 1" difference in height front to back (this is a the kind of rake I was seeking). The final pics are of the new stance.

I've added this for everyone's info, but if questions remain, fell free to ask.

OK, for some reason the pics won't load. So I will try again in the next post.

I thought I'd try again to post the pics. Sorry for the delay, but there were some techinical difficulties.

The first pic I was talking about was already posted. The others are presented in the order that I discussed in the original post. Thanks for your patience. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

I cant get mine right...levelling kit, then the rear was too 'pre-runner' looking, so added 2" blocks in the rear, now its too damn high, and the tires were too small (285's) so added new tires (35's) now the tires are too big....

I need a new truck....
