Came across your thread while searching for WC-53 info. Which led me to join right up! Cool site so far. I have a 42 WC-53 I am starting to convert to Cummins myself, mcinfantry. I am trying to squeeze a 6 in there. I was wondering if perchance you had some earlier build pics? Would be very interested if you wouldn't mind sharing.
Your truck is looking awesome. Hope mine comes out half as nice.

Man, I see NO way to put a 6 in. Unless you cut the firewall bad, or extend the front. What pics domyou need?

I'm figuring 8" into the firewall will do it, by 18" wide. Its going to get a 4-6" body lift plus a 6-8" suspension lift. I'm hoping that will generate some room as well. Mostly at the floor. The G56 manual transmission is a little long, but.....It moved the shifter location back about 6".
If you happen to have any motor mount, steering assembly or front suspension pics would be helpful. The steering is definitely going to give me fits. Also, what did you do for an intercooler? Not much width up front.
Is the 4 about the same width as the 6?
Some times my ideas aren't the brightest, but if you don't try?
Thanks for any input.

Quite possibly one of the coolest vehicles I've seen on this site. Nicely done.

The 4 is tight. The one wc53 with a 6 didn't look too good, but that's just me. Mine moves well with a 4b, and blown head gasket....

How much does the 4 put out for torque and hp anyway? I probably would have went with a 4 if one was available, but I had a 6 just sitting here, waiting for a project.
Bummer on the head gasket. At least your truck looks good moving or sitting still.
