I would not recomend the pro-comp (made by cooper). I got them at a price I couldn't refuse (buy2 get 2 free). The tread is way too soft, just driving down a dirt and gravel road takes chunks out of the tread. I'm going to try goodyear wranglers when these wear out.

I can't comment on the mud terrains... but I've been running the extreme all terrains on mine for over 40K and they are holding up real well. But, I also rotate religously and all most all miles are hardball. I will be buying another set when these finally die.
