You can see the door is a bit "thicker" looking and the back is a little better spray patter, I would suggest testing it out on a piece of plywood prior to spraying your project.

Thanks!
Ian

what brand did you have?

Off AL's site:
What makes Al's Liner Unique is the ability to protect all of your projects not only from everyday wear and tear, but it also gives you protection from the sun. Al's liner is 100% UV resistant. Your beautiful finish will not fade, no matter what color you spray.

You are right that Al's Liner is "Guaranteed not to fade or deteriorate due to uv exposure".

Your truck box looks great for your first time spraying. When you use the gun you do not need to fully pull back on the trigger. I find the best spraying is done by just partially pulling the trigger back and helps to save the amount of product your spraying as well as thickness.

how durable is it? i've beat on my linex a ton and only have one small lil chip... granted it did fade, but this might be a good alternative for my next truck!

well I loaded up a couple tractors over the weekend and the chains drug over the lid on the box when I got them out and put them away and no issues.

Make sure to turn the gun upside down when youre done the stuff is pretty dang hard and Im having a heck of a time getting it out of the bottom of the gun

my 90 bed and rockers will be sprayed with this product!! along with the bed on my 01 and rockers on the 06

Im having a blast with this stuff! I just sprayed the bumper to my 83 chevy dump truck to test out the light speckle (to do the side of the 06) and it turned out awesome once I got the gun dialed in where I wanted it! I had to order another couple gallons so I wouldnt run out of material to play with

Looks great guys, Keep the pics coming!

Al's Liner mother company, Scorpion Coatings, has done extensive tests against other liner products and with proper prep work it has been as strong if not more durable than the other big named liners. Yo can even spray al's Liner over other liners that are damaged or faded.
