The only thing to watch out for is if you do a lot of pulling by federal law DOTstates you cannot have any tint on the front windows of your pickup or windshield. I have 35% on front and a windshield banner and i just got a ticket and told by the DOT officer that was law. So i guess it is up to you but i know in my quad cab all the windows back 3 limo, front 2 35% and windsheild banner was only $115.

On my 01 I had 5% on the rear three windows and it was not bad to see out of at night. During a rainy dreary day when people do not turn on their headlights it is a PITA, I almost clipped a few people because of it. I have been thinking about tinting my 06 with 5% on the rear three and 15% on the front two, but just have not pulled the trigger yet.

Default My tint

my trucks not done but down the side windows i have 5% in the back 2 windows as well as the rear glass. the two front are 20% and the windsheild yes the windsheild is 50% note look at it its like theres nothing in it. if i live in nevada i would have it 35 or 20. If you worried about haveing tint to low because of cops all hosety they dont screw with big truck usally cause they come with factory tint usally so they dont bust you for it to much. and you have your window down when you talking to them anyways so screw um. hope that helped.

My windows are 20% all the way around. At night i is a little hard to back up but thats why the windows roll down. I dont think a truck looks right with real dark in the back and light up front. i.e 20% or 5% in the back and 35% or none in the front When i bought my truck only the backs were done so I did 20% up front to match.

Here is a "scale" for you

Just remember, when you are looking into the truck the windows look darker. That scale is like you are in the truck and looking out. (I had to say it for the record, not insulting your intellegence)

My truck has 20%, hard to see out of at night without ambient light. I have to roll the window down when backing up the driveway at night. The reverse lights don't cut it.
