That's crazy!! Not being the farmer I have some questions..

What is the 9120 on tracks purpose.. in one scene it is cuttin the corn and throwing it into a trailer, in another scene it is just cutting it.... Has the corn already been harvested by this time, and if so are they just cuttin the stuff down in prep for next yr? Farming stuff has always really interested me!!

Right, in both scenes its is still harvesting corn. They have built in bins that hold the corn on the combine till the corn buggy gets back. With a 16 rown head the hopper fills fast! Thats why you see the black circle looking thing on the top of the combine. That extends the capacity of the hopper too. They unload on the run because its faster and more effecient, using the fuel being burned wisely.

That's pretty cool first time I've ever seen tracks on a combine, Is that pretty common for that area, or was it just a really wet year?

we got 650 acres in southern ohio, 450 of it is farmable, we cash rent it out to some guys locally and they used to have all IH equipment but started to switch over to JD cause they local JD place gave them a great deal, well they are out working ground with their 8400 series Deeres and were behind for the year........So they had to go break out the red tractor, .......flat passed both those Deere's in the field with a bean drill twice the size of what the 8400's were pulling......the youngest brother (he's 50) set right there and told me "man those deeres are nice but when we got to get the job done we pull big red out of the barn".........

oh and if it aint Red, leave it in the shed....

Last year we leased 2 305 Magnums with duals on the front and rear. They drink more fuel and have less power then my 8520. And its rated at a lower horsepower.
