So since we have so many guys with stacks all in one place I have to ask this question here. I am thinking about getting stacks and was wondering just how much of a mess flat cut or miter cut stacks create upon startup after a night of rain or snow?

BTW all the awesome pics of stacks in here are making me think I don't care about any mess they do create!

Yeah! What happens when you get a heavy rain and don't have any caps on them?

Sometimes you get a little spatter of soot on the back of the truck. It's not too bad though. usually if I don't really get on it the first few miles it'll dry out and not spray on the truck. some people drill like a 1/16" or 1/8" hole in the bottom of the 90 degree elbow that comes through the bed to keep it drained out.

IF you fire it up right after a hard rain it makes a mess. My dually fenders catch most it. I leave it running when I wash it, so it keeps it dry. I have a 1/8 inch hole at the lowest point to drain but it takes a couple of hours to dry all the way.
