Post A Pic Of Your Truck With.....
a camper shell. I've decide to purchase a shell for the back of my truck and was wondering what you guys/gals have on the back of your trucks. I picked up a couple year old stockland fiberglass shell today, I'll pick it up tomorrow. It's a utility shell, has lift up doors on each side, (no side windows), has a rear window and front slider. Apparently the front slider flips down or something like that so the glass can be cleaned. The guy bought it new for $2000, I picked it up for $300. Seems like a pretty good deal. It's white and I've been pondering whether to paint it to match or leave it white and pinstripe it with some wide pin striping. I figure if I leave it white with pin stripe, when/if I decide to sell it, it will be easier to get rid of a white shell vs a red shell.
All you guys with toppers and toneau's make me jealous. I can't afford a nice one because I have to put fuel in blasted thing.
Question: do they save fuel? If I can use this arguement with the wife I might be able to get one.

The white one is the 24V right Evil? I don't remember - you drove the white out this way back a few years ago...

I don't know if you guys got craigslist up there? But that's were I find everything! I'll let ya know next week about the fuel mileage.
I'm going to build fishing pole holders that are accessible through the side doors.
This camper shell is best $300 bucks I've ever spent!
