Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm being given a 2000 36' Montana fifth wheel and need a truck to tow it. I current have a 2000 Silverado 1500HD with the 6.0l gas engine and am not sure it's enough truck for this trailer. The fifth wheel has a 3000lb pin weight and weights around 15,000lbs. I'm thinking of upgrading to a diesel but only have my trade plus about $5000 to spend. I figure I can get around $5-6k for my truck (275k miles in pretty rough condition) so I'm looking for a truck around $11k. I ran across this YouTube video and wanted to see if you all agree with what the guys says I'm regards to finding a good used diesel for around that price.
