So here is my beautiful 1996 Dodge 2500 cummins nv4500 4x4 289,000 mile truck.

The motor was rebuilt and rotating assembly balanced at 200,000 and the injection pump was replaced last summer, so about 9 months ago? Anyway then I bought it to use as a doner to put the motor in my '88 gmc crewcab, but I had to have a little fun first right? The truck already had guages and the kdp when the motor was overhauled so threw in a #10 fuel plate, gave the afc 20 clicks to the motor and I think i gained over 100hp.

As of now the truck is at a junkyard, the motor has fresh red and black paint, and new gaskets and seals.

Now to put it in the new truck . But that will all come later. Oh one more thing, I bought the truck running and driving perfectly for $1,200

 

Damn the body you junked was better than the one I drive, I'd of gave you your 1200 back without the drivetrain in it

 

well dont feel bad, It had its share of dents and dings from years of ranch use and a mismatched door from junkyard. The interior...well lets say trash, and the frame was broken/cracked on the driver side between cab and bed. I tried to sell it locally on classified's for $300 and no one wanted it. I finally loaded it on a trailer and took it to the junkyard, they gave me $500.
