I agree with DieselMinded, Mothers powerballs suck. I've been using the same Flitz ball for years, when it gets dirty I just throw it in the washing machine and then let it air dry. i use it on my rims, bumpers, stacks, and any hard to reach places on our semis.

I use acid(alumibrite) on my big trucks all the time to clean the crap off the tanks and wheels but it will take alot of polishing to get them to shine after the acid because it turns them almost white but I don't polish them ,I hate washing the truck because it either rains the next day or I end up on a lot grubbin (sticks,stumps and mud) and they tend to get just as dirty or worst

you have gotten good advise sorry i didnt read every post but ive got a can of stuff from orielly auto parts its in a silver can and you just pull some of the fabric out and start buffing away worked great on my 5ver and my parents motor home good luck
