I was looking for a cheap reader and came across this little unit. It came from hong kong with a ton of obd2 software and a working key gen to use all of it.

I installed the scanmaster 2.1v on my laptop, plugged in in to my truck and it worked like the cats ***.

Is that just a code reader adaptor or can that be used to load programs kinda like a programmer?

 

Ok, so i've used this tool about 20 times and has performed great! It even picked up a couple codes the snap on scanner couldn't. (my buddy was pissed!)

haha, i've been changing 10 bucks a shot to read/clear codes.
