For Arguement sake - believe it or not, Costco is selling a Snap-On electric pressure washer and a flashlight/knife combo.

Both made in China. Im thinking those didnt fall off a Snap-on truck, and Im pretty sure Snap-On didnt make them either....

I'll look around

EDIT:

Here is an easy one

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog

http://www.mactools.com/product/tabi...rcombo-48.aspx

Bearing Race Driver set any one?

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog (it does not show it but I'm pretty sure the case says Snap-On on it)

here is the OTC kit

http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/otc4507.html

There is nothing wrong with it. All the large tool companys do it.

Go look at all the kits on both trucks... most are OTC, ATD, ect. Just rebranded.

Mac Tools Online Store - TRCOMBO-48

That is true....IIRC the taps, dies, etc are Irwin/Hanson....forgot about those. There are more now that I think about it--perhaps the "all" statement is not correct, my apologies.

I thought we were talking about actual tools. j/k...but there have been some "licensed products" showing up....there was a new brief about it somewhere, where Snap-On's licensing agency was all happy about it. Sorta dumb if you ask me. I saw a Snap-On BBQ set at Costco, too.

I guess their hats, coats, diecasts, and pens aren't made in-house either.

For all the big boys (MAC, Snap-On, Matco, Cornwell) most the "kits" are made by someone else. They all make there own hardline (Wrenchs, sockets, ratchets, ect) and Boxes

Matco just came out with there own line of re-badged IR impact guns and other air tools. I bought the matco 1/2" gun cause of they offered it with a two year warranty and it comes with the logo on the handle rubberized for better grip. Really like it..... I use to be a hard core Snap-On guy, but the tool guy is getting a real big head about him self and his customer service is taking a crap. I'm buyin matco now.

Also REDBACK boots are re-badged by Snap-On.
Also seen i think Oakly sunglasses on the Matco truck that say Matco on them?

Matco, Mac, And Snap-On have ALWAYS had IR air tools for there lower end tools. Nothing new. The AW434 that we sell (MAC) is a IR. Been selling it since the 70's

I have had an IR impact for years. I love it compared to the IM5100 that I bought from Snap-on a long time ago

I use what ever tools are in my tool boxes... If it breaks I replace it with what ever tool I can find that looks like it will fit in my tool boxes...

Sometimes I just take the tool I need out of someone elses tool box and it becomes mne...
