cherry bomb works pretty good on heavy oil ad grease on your hands, but seems to have a harder time on light stuff.

I can't remember the name of what we used, but I always got something fruity smelling off the snap on truck and it worked like a champ. If it was really bad, I used brake clean (seriously, I know it's bad) and that will peel off any grime.

I now have a horrible form of contact dermititus blended with psoriasis from using hand cleaners, WD 40, mineral spirts, and other shop chemicals. Hardly a day goes by when I don't have big rough patches and bleeding fingers. Makes things difficult with my wife and I also -- I have to watch out how I touch her otherwise she gets all scratched up. In other words, it SUCKS. I've been in the trades for 30+ years, this stuff accumulates over time and once you get it, you got it forever.

I'm looking into the Super Tough product. Hopefully it is what they say. I currently use GOJO (multi-green formula that we get in dispensors at work -- not very good at all) and also use GOJO Power Gold (at home) which actually works pretty good as far as a hand cleaner is concerned. I am not a big fan of the orange cleaners, nor the older white goop type cleaners. They are horrible on my skin and make me bleed worse than ever.

I've used it. I've used most of what is out there, between being in the business for 30 years and being both a Safety Kleen and Snap On rep, I've been in a couple thousand shops in my lifetime.

gl have you ever tried new-skin on the dermititus? My hands are AWFUL from the chemicals I used in aviation for 11 years and do the same thing but the new skin made a world of difference in the splitting and bleeding. Granted spraying it on smells like garbage and burns like walking through hell wearing napalm underwear BUT it clean up the areas and make it take a lot more effort to break the skin and start bleeding when normally pulling on a wrench too hard will do it.

Diva! I think you have a great cleaner nearer than you think... Make up remover works as a charm. Use it on on your hands ( or wherever you need it) and just wipe it off with an old T-shirt! Solves grease and dirt like nothing else and moistures the skin too.
My friends always tease me cause I´m the only guy they know that has makeup remover in his toolbox

I tried some of that years ago, but I'm sure that the formula has changed some since then. It made my hands worse, as does most products I've tried. Many of the things that are supposed to make skin better make mine worse because of the weird combination of skin disease that I now have. I actually grow too much skin in a few places and it is that extra (scar tissue) skin that pops.

But, I may give it a try again. Thanks.
