Default Rubber Adhesives Recommendations

I have two rubber mats that I want to stick together to make one thicker mat out of. What kind of adhesives will stick these things tight and be weatherproof. they are 3/4 inch heavy rubber right now.

Seriously!! Well he can use contact cement or epoxy.

What exactly will they be used for. Epoxies will bond them together but will have no flex and very little elongation. How big are these mats. What type of rubber compound is it? There is no 1 answer for bonding rubber together. To many other variables. There are double sided butyl tapes or you could use a two component 100% solids urethane. There are also glues for EPDM

Are these like the big 4'x6' cow mats?

Right now they are the heavy livestock trailer mats but they will be cut down for this project into 3 inch wide strips about 2 foot long and will be used more for shock absorption then anything. Flex won't be much of an issue, just crushing weight.

This is also a very good adhesive and may be just what you want EternaBond DoubleStick 3" x 50' Roll [E-DS-3-50] : Big Rock Supply, Quality Roofing Tools
I have used this stuff alot and it does bond very well. You can also order a primer to go with it.

These rubber mats I think are a little more porous than regular calendared sheet rubber. So you may have to put a coat of adhesive on and let it seal the surface then re-apply and bond together
