Default Reared swap

Gentleman,
I have a 1993 3/4 ton 4x4 than I lost the rearend in and my question is until I have time to rebuild it can I put a Dana 60 outta a 1986 w250 gas pickup in it until I can rebuild my 70?... I know anything is possible but other then ujoints and little stuff will it bolt in and work?... both are 3:54 ratio. Thank you in advance for your expertise

I've switched my '90 Ramcharger from 9.25" to Dana 70, and now a Dana 60.

Axle tube is 3-1/8" instead of 3-1/2". Pinion on 60 is shorter, so watch the driveshaft. Good news is you can swap/borrow the 1410 yoke from the 70. Hubs & drums are different, but the brake shoes and hardware are the same.
