Default Diesel Fuel

hey i was wondering if diesel is flamable after it exits the exhaust pipe. i am wondring because i want to put a flame kit on my stacks that burns off of diesel or some other idea

My guess would have to be probably not. if it were possible and easy to do you would probably see tons of threads on how to ignite diesel fumes. probably your best chance of doing it easy was to run real lean

no it wont......its a combustable not a flamable

diesel fuel is very hard to lite as it dont flash well.......gatta add bout 20% gas to get er lit


flame throwers use propane

ok what would i use to shoot propane into my stack chamber were the flames wont re-enter the propane supply line

No hydrocarbon that has reached its flash point can be reburned without a massive amount of heat ie...5000+ degree's. You cant use diesel as a flame thrower in your stack and if you try to do that let me know where you are when ya do it so that I can make sure I'm on the other side of the planet.

You need to use propane or butane and use a spark ignition.
