My buddy says its the quadzilla tearing my motor apart.. he is old fashion i guess... or im just in denial. i jst turned 140 grand on my 2001 cummins.. power adders is cold air quadzilla adrenaline and 4" strait. please help... one of the worst news stories iv had

you can send it in and see what metals they find, clean your compressor wheel and see if there is any play. if you hot rod your quadzilla you can be causing internal issues.do you red line alot?

Yea play in your turbo means you have bad bearings. you can suck stuff thru the intake but a little doesnt destroy a truck, alot can. But is the play side to side or forward to back. is your truck running and driving ok? I quess I should ask, since its not running well what do you mean, idles funny, or lack of power because lack of power is also caused by a pluged fuel fulter. When I lived in mesa, az I rarley ever changed my air filter, where I live now its a constant chore... but let me know what you find out.

Well i was up late goin threw the truck. i changed the oil to c what i could find invthe pan.. wasnt really anything in it i used a powerful magnet and didnt find much... the shaft play us up and down... i took the intake hose off and ran the truck for a few min and didnt notice the turbine to bvrubbing anyware and it didnthave any awkward noises... i do feel a loss of power though... and its easy to notice.... i changed my fuel filter a couple weeks ago. But its not imposswble somethin could b restricting it.... im gunna take my old filter apart and send in a oil sample to caterpiller today just to b safe... cause those pieces i found really freaked me out haha... im also goin to download my old tune back on my quadzilla. to c if thats a factor. cause it seems like the power loss may of started round the same time... ill let u know whats goin on.... thanks again for all ur help nice to have people around who know what there talkn about

You can even disconnect the programmer and see how it runs but your proabaly use to all that extra power. As for your turbo acceptable tolerances are .010" Also do you have a fuel pressure guage for your lift pump? it needs to be above 8psi at all times. if its low it also causes loss of power and will destroy the VP44 injection pump.. Not saying your lift pump is bad but its also something to check into. Last time I went to arizona I was climbing those hills up on the B-line highway and my Lift pump took a ****, and it made life hell climbing those hills. but if swapping programs doesnt help, then check you lift pump fuel pressure or have some one check it..
