What are the dangers of low sulfur diesel fuel , and how can your product help ?
Is your product an emulsifier or a demulsifier ?

ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) is what they call a very dry fuel. Dry meaning, very low lubricity for your fuel pumps and injectors which can cause premature failure. Almost all of our products have a additional amount of synthetic lubricity additive (Synshield) formulated into them, depending on the product.
In regards to emulsifier or demulsifier? There are two schools of thought which is better... Early testing with ULSD should more potential problems with bacteria due to the lowered amount of sulfur in the fuel. Sulfur in itself is a natural Biocide, and due to the severe hydrotreating (Sulfur Removal Process in Refining) fuels lost their natural biocide. Schaeffer's uses a additive to absorb moisture in the fuel and to encapsulate it to burn out through the exhaust. The reason for this, if you eliminate moisture in your fuel / storage tank there is no food source presence to fuel bacteria growth.

Due to epa compliance all additives used must below 15PPM of Sulfur. There is not liquid sulfur that is available. Also by using powdered sulfur and trying to liquifi it, would actually plug your fuel filter itself.
So what can we do to remedy the problem? We all love our trucks and want to keep them running. What products do you suggest we use? Should we be putting octane boosters or something of the like in our fuel to help our vehicles last longer?
2 Stroke Engine Oil should never be used as a lubricity replacement for Diesel Engines under any circumstances. 1.) 2 stroke engine oils are generally blended with up to 25% mineral spirits, thus causing a loss in BTU / HP. 2.) The additive chemistry formulated in 2 Stroke Engine Oil was not designed for the pressures in diesel fuel injection systems, especially in newer vehicles. 3.) The amount of Detergent (deposit control additive) is ten times stronger than that used in a fuel additives whether ours or some other leading additive companies. That being said, if your vehicle has any type of blow by, you run a good chance of poisoning your Catalytic Converter.
Just as an Info:
german military uses official 2-stroke oil to add missing lubricity in Jet fuel which has far less lubing abilities than ULSD.
After 4 years of hard testing it is approved by order.
