Default Allison Automatic HT653RM

I have available for sale a Allison Automatic HT653 this the the big wutomatic transmission not the ones normally in fords. This was behind a Cat in a GMC Topkick, the trans was fine when removed. One plus with this five speed automatic transmission is that it is mechanical unlike the newer ones... you do not need a $1200 computer to worry about.

I will include the torque converter, flywheel, bell housing, and everything. The transfluid looked clean and good, the trans was outside for a little while so you will want to clean it, the flywheel has a little surface rust. I can throw the parts in the sandblaster if you need... no guarantees then.

The transmission is currently in the Beaverton or Portland Oregon area. I will be driving to Las Vegas and can deliver along the way for a small fee if you need.

I would like this gone this week so make me an offer. I can also throw it on a pallet and ship nationally (buyer pays shipping)

These go for about $4k when rebuilt, so this is a great deal for someone!

I would like $1250 for local pickup

Thanks,

-Ryan

Default Specs

For those not familar with this trans here are some specs... yes the HP rating is not huge, but that is for lifetime living behing a larger displacement engine and hauling over 70,000 lbs or 10 of these trucks. Long and short it can beat the crap out of your 47rh, Allison out of a Chevy or Ford and is mechanical in nature not like the newest ones run off a $1200 computer.

I picked up the trans from a guy who took it out of a Topkick truck it was on a Cat engine so you will need a different bellshousing. I do not know the mileage, I do know that it was a remanufactured transmission which tells me it was in a truck with higher mileage, then the transmission was literally replaced with this one (factory rebuild) so this transmission may have less mileage.

This transmission looks to be in good condition, but I am not sure because it was pulled from a working truck by the last guy. But it was pulled from a working truck. Let me know your thoughts I would like to get this out of the way soon...
