Default 2007 Doge Ram 2500 5.9L and trailers

This is a feeler at this point because I am detailing the truck and fixing the little issues it has before I actually put it out on E-bay or Auto trader. It is going to be sold one way or another. I am getting out of the car hauling business so both trucks and the trailers are going for sale. I am going to try and keep the 99 because I like it and don't owe any money on it, but I'm embarrassed to say I have 12k invested it in so I would need to get that out of it if I was going to sell.

Here is my add for the 07:
2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9L 4X4 SLT QCSB 6spd manual Transmission
One owner, 175,000 highway miles, well maintained, not smoked in, never taken offroad, brand new carpet and floor mats (I had the floor mats out and the carpet covered) and over $10,000 in aftermarket parts.

This truck is just getting broken in with 175k. I have all receipts for work performed. Oil was always changed at 5,000 mile intervals, which included a new Fram filter, Rotella oil and lube. The front ball joints and U-joints have been replaced in the last 10k miles with Moog greaseable units. The steering was upgraded in the last 20k miles to the new heavy duty version with a skyjacker steering stabilizer. Both batteries have been replaced in the last few months. The remanufactured injectors were just installed and it runs like new, the brakes are brand new. I didn’t put the upgrade on the front yet and the rear was put on <5k ago. It does not leak any fluids, runs great and gets great mileage. I have seen mid 20’s on the highway.

I have the original window sticker, which has a list of all the options installed. It has power adjustable pedals, power everything, 4X4 on the floor so no electronics to malfunction, cold a/c, split rear seats, Siris radio antenna, single CD, Aux input, Keyless entry with two key fobs, sliding rear window, tow package, 17” aluminum rims, overhead trip computer, block heater with new cord, front tow hooks and towing mirrors.

Here is a list of the performance upgrades:

Mod / upgrade Cost
Southbend 3250 dual disk clutch $1,400.00
EMS off-road Free Spin hubs $1,500.00
Banks Technicooler and high ram $1,250.00
AFE Stage 2 Intake $495.00
Snow Performance Stage III MPG water/meth injection and EGT & boost gauges $805.00
Rear Air Bags $265.00
4 Inch Exhaust with muffler delete $400.00
Transmission coolers and short throw shifter $450.00
Rear Differential cooler $265.00
Gooseneck hitch with braces $200.00
Electric fan conversion $300.00
Smarty $685.00
Grill guard $175.00
Steering upgrade $480.00
Fender flares $80.00
Stainless steel brake lines $215.00
Cross drilled & slotted rotors with ceramic pads $650.00
Moog greasable ball and U joints $500.00
Brake controller $65.00
Air dog 150 with fuel pressure warning light and the ability to convert back to stock quickly $605.00
Injectors (installed 11/16/2011) $1,390.00
Total $12,175.00

The truck has only a few cosmetic things wrong with it. Both mirrors have chips taken out of the plastic, but work fine. The hood has black paint where the old block heater cord arced removing the red paint. There is black paint a few other small places also. It has a new honeycomb style grill. The tailgate and bed have some damage from being a work truck and the back window has a Plexiglas replacement on the passenger side. The interior is in decent shape with your typical scrapes and scratches. It will need two tires soon, but I have some used ones I can include. Overall it is a great truck and you will not find one that has been this well taken care of. I just don’t need a diesel anymore. This is the last year for the 5.9L motor so get it while it lasts.

Book value for rough trade in is $15,800. I do not consider this truck as rough due to its excellent mechanical condition. If you take that value coupled with the modifications; $19,999 is a reasonable price. It is best offer because I already have another vehicle and it is just sitting here. Make me an offer; the worst I can say is no. I’ll offer it to you guys for 18k OBO. I would like this to be a quick sale if at all possible.

If anyone has any interest in a three car wedge trailer PM me for details. I doubt anyone wants to touch the 99 for 12k, but it has disc brakes with a locker in the rear now, dodge rims with simulators, leaks nothing and has upgraded intercooler boots and clamps. Thanks for looking and any tips to make my add better are welcome. I’ll put some pics in my profile page.
