ATTN 1995 Land Rover Discovery with 300TDI Diesel/Automatic

This is a 1995 Discovery with a 2.5L Land Rover 300 TDI turbo diesel conversion. The conversion was done 5 years ago at 115K miles by Safari HP in Orlando. Conversion was done using complete diesel drivetrain including engine, automatic transmission, transfer case, air cleaner, wiring harness, power steering, alternator, starter, AC compressor, chassis mounts, frame crossmember, and fuel filler neck. New timing belt, seals, transmission filter, free flow exhaust, belts, hoses, oil lines and radiator installed during the conversion. Drivetrain is from a 1997 model UK spec Discovery with 43K miles. Current mileage is approximately 142K (only 71K on the entire drivetrain). Truck was also painted (original color Java Black) around the same time, the color is Nissan Solar Yellow. Headliner has been reupholstered. Suspension has been completely rebuilt including new rear ball joint and polyurethane bushings. Off road uprades include 2” Old Man Emu HD springs/shocks, Rovertym fuel tank skidplate, rock sliders and stainless steel brake lines, Mantec raised air intake, and Atek heavy duty steering with OME steering stabilizer. Rebuilt double cardan front driveshaft with serviceable u-joints. Genuine Land Rover seat covers and complete set of new rubber floor mats. Lucky8 supplied the 50mm Flexi fender flares and breather line relocation kit. Optima yellow top deep cycle battery. Maglite and fire extinguisher mounted in the rear cargo area. Safari Equip interior security screens installed in the rear cargo area. Procomp 16x8 steel wheels with Goodyear M/TR 245/75R16 tires. All new lights installed 3 years ago including later model tails and Discovery II headlamps. Roof rails/cross bars, door seal gaskets, vanity sunvisors, leather console lid and cup holders all upgraded to Discovery Series II style as well. The rear view mirror with digital compass and Homelink garage door opener system is from a 2004 Discovery, the dashboard and door panels from a 1998. The steering wheel is the non-airbag style. Interior is very clean but the front seats are ugly under the covers. Stereo upgrades include Alpine iDA-X305 digital media head unit, Alpine KTP-445 Power Pak amplifier, Polk db401 front and rear speakers, Boston Neo 5t tweeters, Boston GT-275 amplifier and G210 10” subwoofer in custom built enclosure. Aftermarket Autometer EGT, Boost PSI, Water Temp, and Oil pressure gauges. Upgraded full width intercooler, charge piping, silicone hoses, Phase 3 uprated turbocharger, alloy power steering fluid tank, and coolant reservoir from Allard Turbosport in the UK. Allard’s phase 3 increases the horsepower from 110 to 143 and torque from 195 lb/ft up to 257.
Body in great shape with the exception of dents on the right front fender and quarterpanel. The only rust is a few tiny spots around the right alpine roof glass. No rust in the door jambs, chassis, etc. There are other scratches and chips in the paint to be expected. The engine oil has been changed regularly and there are no leaks. Runs, drives, and shifts great. Starts right up every time. The diesel engine is dead reliable, has never misfired or skipped a beat. 70MPH is no problem but the truck is happier at 65. The rear sunroof is not operational, and the rear window wiper does not work.
The under hood parts of the air conditioning were removed when I did the turbo/intercooler upgrades but I have not had time to reinstall them. All those parts will of course be included with the vehicle. Other new parts included: timing belt, crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, valve cover gasket, thermostat, water pump, diesel lift pump, transmission mount, transfer case mount, oil cap, dipstick, oil pressure switch, serpentine belt, universal joints, timing cover gasket, and 4 fuel filters. Other spare parts included with the vehicle include: radiator hoses, belts, engine mounts, and turbo exhaust housing.
Also included is a copy of the Genuine Land Rover 300 TDI Overhaul Manual and every receipt I have for money spent on the vehicle during my ownership. By my calculations I have spent over $6,500 just in the past three years ($0 on break downs) and only put 8,000 miles on it during that time.

ASKING $19,500 Email for phone number.
