---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Product Description

The second-generation Evolution was redesigned from the ground up. This is the first standalone programmer to display EGTs as well as offer power programs for significantly increased torque and economy, plus monitoring for engine parameters, diagnostic information, and performance testing.

The three power programs offer up to 100hp and 200 ft-lb of torque increase from stock. There is also a fuel economy program specifically tuned for maximum miles per gallon. Each program can be customized by adjusting shift points/pressure, adding/removing the speed limiter and adjusting for different tire sizes.

The Evolution can display 4 different engine parameters at once, and there are 11 different parameters to choose from, including transmission temp, boost pressure, EGT, RPM, coolant temp, intake air temp, etc. Alerts can also be set for various parameters to flash a warning on the screen when a value exceeds the user threshold (for instance, when EGT is higher than 1300 degrees). The color and brightness/constrast of the backlight can be changed to any custom color.

The diagnostic capabilities can be used to read and clear DTCs, and to record up to 60 seconds of data from 5 different parameters. This data can then be downloaded and viewed on your PC with the available free software. The Evolution also has a performance testing mode that can measure 0-60MPH and 1/4 mile times.
